Bronzed Outback Astronomy Aussie

Broken Hill Space Matters

Hard work pays off.

On Saturday 25 July 2015 Outback Astronomy was awarded the Bronze (3rd) prize in "specialised tourism services" in the Travel In Inland Tourism Awards.

We are thrilled. We are relatively new to the tourism industry just over a year ago when we hosted Outback Astronomy's first sky show, in March 2014.

This award firms up Broken Hill, in the far west of New South Wales, Australia, as a great astronomy tourism destination and a great dark sky place for natural observing of the night sky.

We have big, audacious plans and we hope to attract your support.

Thank you to all people who have so far attended our sky shows. For those who have bought a "ticket" to attend, we'd like to offer 20% off your next "ticket" to celebrate.

If you are a local resident, simply ring us to redeem this offer in the next 12 months. If you visited Broken Hill and reside elsewhere, then any time you are next in the city please do contact us to take us up on this offer.

The more support we have the sooner we will have our new facilities on the ground.

Thank you again  all.
